Fred and Jodi, along with their four children, joined Wycliffe in February 2017 and are excited about God calling them to serve the Bibleless people of Papua New Guinea (PNG). PNG represents over 800 of the world’s languages and roughly 300 of those still need Bible translation. Given PNG’s extremely rugged terrain, aviation services and support is crucial to the translation teams that are working in remote locations. Fred will serve as a helicopter pilot supporting the translators with transportation, supplies and equipment, and medical evacuation should the need arise. Jodi will assist in various staff care roles as needed in addition to her primary role of caring for their family.
