The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind. At the end of February we finished up our Intercultural Communications Course (ICC). We loved ever bit of it! The depth of growth we have had from the class is so hard to put into words! But maybe I can share a few pictures that capture it sense pictures are worth a thousand words, or so they say!
These table groups that we got to be a part of were incredible! Bonds of friendship and brotherhood have been formed and we will forever hold everyone of these people in our hearts. As well as the rest of the group!
Joshua set up stones of remembrance for the people of Israel to remember what God had done for them. In our last week that is what we had the opportunity to do too. To remember the things God has taught us throughout our time here.
After sharing our rock of remembrance we stood around the room and our classmates and staff members prayed over us! It was so special to get to pray for and be prayed for by so many people that we love so dearly!
This time spent together in class with each other and with God is never going to leave us! God has used this course to grow both of us in ways that we never expected. Yes, there were and have been unexpected challenges, but God has used each one of those challenges to grow our faith deeper and deeper every day!
The weekend following ICC we had the pleasure of having Fred’s mom and dad and youngest brother down to visit.
We loved having them down to visit!
We are very thankful for all the Lord has blessed us with over our time spend down here! While transitions and change are not easy, spending time with God has become much easier, because He is our life, our breath, our heart beat! God is good all the time!!
In Christ, Jodi
